Travel vaccinations

Travel vaccinations are required for many destinations all over the world and it is very important to check out what you need well in advance of when you are due to travel.

It is recommended that you get travel vaccinations 8 weeks before you go, to obtain maximum protection against whatever disease you are being vaccinated against.

From the 1st April 2022, the way you receive your vaccinations for overseas travel will change. This means that you will no longer receive these from your GP, instead you can book your vaccinations via the below outlet. The changes are for both adult and childhood travel vaccinations.
To find out more about the vaccinations you require for your travel destination, check out this website for travel help and advice:

Four travel vaccines are provided by the NHS. These are Diptheria, Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis A.   Other vaccines will incur a charge.
